Community Engagement Day
A rare opportunity to engage with our volunteers, enjoy a FREE train ride, and find out what you can do to help keep the railway running.
Sunday 11 June 2017
10:30am to 4:00pm
Enjoy a free ride on a steam train - 8 mile round trip
In partnership with the University of the West of Scotland, we have organised a Community Engagement Day at our Brechin station to celebrate our various achievements, allow members of the public to meet our volunteers and to give thanks to our supporters who have donated towards some of our recent projects, such as the overhaul of our Big Blue steam engine and the rebuild of the Brechin Brakevan which was burnt down in an Arson attack in April of 2016.
As a thank you to everyone for their support, we are offering a FREE train journey to all passengers - a onetime only offer, subject to limited availability.
Come and join us on your own or with family and friends, take a return train trip to Bridge of Dun at 11:00, 12:30, 14:00 and 15:30 and see what the team at the Railway has already achieved and what you might be able to offer.
Shop open at Brechin as well as the buffets at Brechin & Bridge of Dun.
