How do I buy tickets for the Santa Specials... ?

There are five ways to buy tickets:

1) Online: Select your seats, pay by credit/debit card, print your tickets on to paper. This is required so that the train staff can cancel your ticket. Booking fee applies. There is no need to show your ticket at the Ticket Office.

2) By post. Complete the booking form and post together with your cheque or postal orders or pay via GoogleCheckout, tickets will be posted or emailed as requested, there is no need to show your tickets at the Ticket office. Booking fee applies of £1.50.

3) By hand at Brechin Station. As if by post. Booking fee applies of £1.50.

4) By Ticketweb. Limited number of seats available. Pay by Credit/debit card with tickets being emailed. Booking fee applies.

5) By email with payment via Google Checkout. Booking fee of £1.50 applies.

6) On the Day, this is not a booking but tickets may be purchased and this is subject to availability.

We accept credit/debit cards at Brechin Station Ticket Office and Shop.

If I am running late will you hold the train for me ... ?

Regret no, our trains depart at the advertised times, this is only fair to other passengers. Once the Guard has been given the right to proceed then no passengers are allowed to board. It may be possible to put you on a later train providing it is not the last train you have missed. Please refer to our booking conditions.

Is there toilets on the trains ... ?

No. Toilets are located on platform 2 at Brechin and at Bridge of Dun Station.
