The Polar Express™ Train Ride at the Caledonian Railway Brechin
Do you believe? We do at the Caledonian Railway and that is why we are proud to be hosting an exciting magical experience like no other. THE POLAR EXPRESS™ Train Ride is coming to the Caledonian Railway in BRECHIN this Christmas with the magic of the 2004 motion picture THE POLAR EXPRESS™ being theatrically re-created so you and your family can be immersed in the sights, sounds and intrigue of this classic children's tale.
Come and join us for this fantastic event and immerse yourself in the magic and wonder of the Christmas season.
We aim to provide all of our visitors with a high quality and memorable experience on board the Polar Express. Unlike many other Polar Express Train Rides across the country, we do not mix different groups within the same compartment or at the same table. As a result, there is a minimum order quantity of 2 for Standard Tickets in coaches C, D, E & (F) and 4 for Premium Tickets in coaches A & B.
We have two ticket options available to customers;(
Tickets Standard: (£30.95 - £45.95)
All passengers receive a Silver Sleigh Bell from Santa - the first gift of Christmas.
All passengers in our Standard Class carriages receive a freshly baked cookie and cup of hot chocolate.
Standard seating is arranged in tables of 4. Please take this into consideration during your booking.
Free parking is available next door to our site in the Haulier’s Yard of Steel and Murdoch for which we are would like to express our appreciation to Laurence Steel from that company. There is additionally on-street and local council parking.
Premium Tickets (£45.95 - £55.95):
Premium ticket holders get their very own private compartment onboard our train - perfect for groups of up to 8 people!
All passengers receive a Silver Sleigh Bell from Santa - the first gift of Christmas.
All passengers in our Premium Class carriages receive a freshly baked cookie and cup of hot chocolate in a Polar Express™ disposable cup.
A unique for this year Souvenir Polar Express™ Ceramic Mug to take home, these are not available to buy in the shop!
Each booking will also receive a Polar Express™ Train Ride bag in which to carry your Limited Edition mugs.
Free car parking is available on site at Brechin Station for Premium ticket holders. (One car per compartment booked).
A disabled accessible section is also available on the train. Coach C. Please in the first instance email us at crb2026pex@caledonianrailway.comto book tickets in this section. Book online and we can book for you. Free parking from Park Road at the Whistle Stop car park, from there access onto the platform.
Please note that 'Babies on Lap' do not receive a Golden Ticket, Silver Bells, Hot Chocolate or Cookies.
28 November and 5, 12 & 19 December: departures at 12:00, 14:00, 16:00 & 18:00.
29 November and 6, 13, & 20 December: departures at 11:00. 13:00 & 15:00.
